The Multicultural History Society of Ontario is extremely proud to have produced the Encyclopedia of Canada’s Peoples, a much-needed research tool that will better enable scholars to tell the stories of this growing country of ours and its greatest natural resource—its many peoples, who are together continuing to build Canada.
We are especially grateful to the following for their very significant help:
The Province of Ontario’s Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation for its sustained financial support over the period of six years that saw the bulk of the editorial work accomplished;
The Government of Canada’s Department of Multiculturalism and Citizenship, whose early grant helped us get the project off and running;
The Board of Directors and the many supporters of the MHSO who generously provided the logistical support for the project;
And, finally, the Jackman Foundation for its early and encouraging grant.
