Alec Jackson, president of S.T., stated: '*We welcome with open arms this group of dynamic young couples from the Richmond area who wish to affiliate with our congregation. We invite the entire community to jom hi this historic moment and participate in the motorcade bearing the Sefer Torah to its new home in Richmond." He noted that the Torah was being given with the compliments of Schara Tzedeck to enable the Richmond group to observe regular religious services of their own as soon as possible.
