How to print large images

If you would like to print a copy of the digitized newspaper page, document or other item that you are viewing, without the other text that appears on the page, follow the instructions below specific to your browser:


Firefox

To print from the “Fit entire image on page” or “Display full-size image” mode:

  • • Right-click on image and select “View Image”
  • • From your browser’s menu, select “Print Preview” from the “File” menu
  • • Adjust image if necessary to fit on one page and select “Print”


Internet Explorer

To print from the “Fit entire image on page” mode:

  • • Right-click on image and select “Print picture”

To print from the “Display full-size image” mode:

  • • Right-click on image and select “Save Picture As”
  • • Save image to your computer
  • • Open image file and select “Print”

Safari

To print from the “Fit entire image on page” or “Display full-size image” mode:

  • • Right-click on image and select "View Image in New Tab"
  • • Go to the new tab
  • • Open Safari's File menu
  • • Click on the image to make it fill the page
  • • Select “Print”
